"This is the statement of beliefs from the mission statement for the Athletic Training program:

In the Athletic Training room, we believe:

-  in the Greek concept of a sound mind in a sound body;
-  in educating athletes about health, nutrition, anatomy, physiology, and injury care. We encourage athletes armed with this knowledge to take responsibility for their injury and their care.
-  athletes have the right to play sports in sound health."
