Education
Before traveling to Oizumi I had
no idea of the complexity of education in this transnational setting.
The Nikkei community in Oizumi is provided with a wide
range of educational possibilities. Both the Oizumi city government
and the established Nikkei community have created a complex
system of education to its community. Subdivisions of education
range from providing language instruction for both the adults
and youths to teaching of cultural standards.
