Why
should YOU study Linguistics at CC?
 You'll get a firm grasp on how language works
- You can apply what you learn in just about every class you take
- You'll get even better in "playing" with LANGUAGE
- You can eat at Knowlton along with students from Malaysia, Russia,
Bulgaria, England, India ... and collect language data while reflecting
on bilingualism, code-switching and speakers' identities
- You can attend foreign films shown on campus and observe how speakers
behave in various LANGUAGES
- You can participate in SATA that will take you to a foreign country
for a semester. If you don't speak its language yet, you'll begin to
understand its nature
- And... you can build your own MAJOR!
